OUR STORY

Kreuther Handcrafted Chocolate is the product of years of culinary partnership between Chef Gabriel Kreuther and Pastry Chef Marc Aumont. With over 10 years of working together at The Modern at The MoMA, the pair opened Kreuther Handcrafted chocolate next door to restaurant Gabriel Kreuther in the winter of 2016.

A true chocolate artist, Chef Marc Aumont creates inventive chocolates, pastries, and chocolate sculptures rooted in classical French technique and inspired by classic New York flavor combinations. The concept of the shop is simple: only the best quality ingredients and finest craftsmanship served in beautiful, thoughtful packaging.

Looking across at Bryant Park in the heart of NYC, passerby’s can witness our chocolate being handcrafted daily through a glass-enclosed workshop at the front of the shop where the team of chocolatiers makes enrobed and molded chocolate.

Since opening, the store has been lent the accolades of “Best Chocolate Shops in America” by Eater and “New York City’s Best Pastries” by Modern Luxury Magazine.

Kreuther Handcrafted Chocolate is open Monday - Saturday from 12 - 8 pm.
